Luckily, there were too many people for them to notice Brandon and Ashley. He and Ashley were there to see a show. Brandon’s friend, Nate was the front man for a band called Ten Miles of Bad Road. They weren’t rock stars, but they could still pack a place like O’Malley’s.
Brandon went to find a table while Ashley got drinks. He went over to the staging area and said hello to the band. Nate smiled and gave him a hug. “Glad you could make it, man. How’ve you been?”
“Good. How’re things?”

“Awesome.”
Brandon wished Nate luck with the show. He wandered through the crowd and found a couple of bar stools. Ashley showed up a few minutes later with a couple of beers.
